While we strive to inform you prior to your departure from your hometown, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally compel us to make alterations en route. Rest assured, we are committed to keeping you informed throughout the journey.

Mountain Flight Delays:

Inclement weather in mountainous terrains, particularly in the Ladakh region of India, can lead to flight delays. In such instances, if the delay persists, it may become imperative for us to adjust the trek and tour route, possibly redirecting to areas accessible via road transport. While we cannot assume liability for expenses incurred due to flight delays or missed international connections, we are dedicated to providing all possible assistance to alleviate any inconvenience.

Inherent Risks and Hazards:

By engaging in your proposed tour, you acknowledge and embrace the possibility of encountering physical exertion beyond your usual levels and inherent hazards associated with traversing remote regions. These areas may be susceptible to various adverse factors, including but not limited to, unfavorable political, physical, health, or climatic conditions. Through the utilization of our services, you explicitly acknowledge and accept these inherent risks and challenging conditions.

Insurance Requirement:

As a prerequisite, it is imperative that you procure comprehensive travel insurance, inclusive of helicopter rescue coverage, at the time of making your deposit.

Your Health and Well-being:

Prior to embarking on your holiday, we highly encourage you to schedule appointments with both your physician and dentist. It is essential to inquire about any current inoculation requirements recommended by your doctor. Furthermore, we kindly request that you provide us with comprehensive details regarding any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking. Clients of advanced age or those with existing medical concerns may be asked to furnish a medical clearance letter from their physician, granting approval for participation in the trek. Please note that Beyond Himalayas Pvt. Ltd. retains the right to verify these documents prior to confirming tours and treks.

Passport Requirement:

For all tourists, a valid passport is indispensable. It is imperative that passports remain valid for a minimum of six months from the commencement of the journey, with a minimum of two blank pages per country to be visited.

Visa Necessities:

A valid visa is essential for your entire journey. We advise consulting your doctor or the nearest travel clinic for the most up-to-date information regarding recommended health precautions, including vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis.

Health and Safety:

General:Comprehensive medical kits accompany all our trips. Additionally, as a precautionary measure on high-altitude treks and climbing expeditions, we carry medical oxygen and Portable Altitude Chambers. Rest assured, all meals prepared during the trek are tailored exclusively for your group, adhering to stringent hygiene standards. Furthermore, sterile washing facilities are readily available to ensure your well-being throughout the journey.

High Altitude:

Altitude sickness can impact individuals regardless of their level of fitness. To mitigate serious issues, our itineraries incorporate adequate rest periods and acclimatization phases. For mild symptoms, a reduction in altitude or spending time in a portable acclimatization chamber typically facilitates swift recovery.All our trips are categorized based on difficulty levels: Easy, Moderate, Challenging, and Mountaineering, ensuring that participants are well-informed about the level of challenge associated with each adventure.

Travel Insurance:

We highly value travel insurance coverage that includes provisions for helicopter evacuation.

Age Limits:

Clients over the age of sixty are kindly requested to complete a medical and personal travel history questionnaire. Individuals under the age of sixteen have the option to join specified family departures and private groups.

Cancellation Terms and Policies:

In the event of a booking cancellation, we kindly request that you provide advance written notification to our team. Please note the following policies:Cancellation will be deemed effective upon receipt of the cancellation letter.The cancellation charges are outlined below based on the cancellation period:Upon booking confirmation and advance payment, a minimum of 10% of the package cost will be deducted.If the service date is postponed or preponed up to 30 days before the service date, only 5% of the package cost will be deducted. The cost for the desired service date will be calculated based on the Hotel Cost and Transportation Cost of that particular time period.30 days before the service start date: 30% of the total package cost will be deducted.Between 29 days and 15 days before the service start date: 50% of the total cost will be deducted.Between 14 days and 10 days before the service start date: 75% of the total cost will be deducted.Between 9 days and 48 hours before the service start date: 90% of the total cost will be deducted.Between 48 hours and the day of service start: 100% of the total cost will be deducted.In the event of a NO SHOW, 100% of the total cost will be deducted.
